Floating pneumatic fenders and Yokohama fenders

These inflatable ship fenders are made of pneumatic rubber, which serves as a protective medium against dangerous collisions caused by ship-to-ship (STS) and ship-to-berthing (STB) contact. They are suitable for berthing and mooring any kind of vessels.

Foam-filled fenders
Our foam-filled fenders are constructed with a central steel through-pipe with closed cell polyurethane foam (EVA foam) core forming the resilient part of the fender. Transition layers are used to enhance the adhesiveness between each type of material. The water-resistant skin is formed using polyethylene polyurea elastomer (SPUA) that is high tensile and reinforced.
This combination of materials enables extremely high compressive stresses to be absorbed, coupled with low reaction forces. Fender tyre and chain nets are optional.
Unsinkable foam-filled fenders
Foam-filled fenders are unsinkable. In the event of rupture of the outer skin, the closed cell property of the Baltec memory flexible foam seals off water ingress. The outer shin can be repaired quickly and economically.
The foam-filled rubber fenders are lightweight with high reserve buoyancy and always maintain the correct level in varying tidal waters
Small shipboard foam-filled fenders
Small shipboard foam-filled fenders also can be optional with padeye end fittings. Our marine foam-filled fenders provide solid protection for ship-to-ship and ship-to-dock applications – providing superior abrasion resistance under the harshest conditions – and offer the ultimate protection for ships, harbour crafts, docks, piers and wharves.
